Two-Way Radio Accessories

Casing

Professional-grade units typically utilize high-performance PC+ABS plastic materials. These materials offer excellent surface gloss, resist aging and abrasion, and ensure the product is robust and durable. Commercial-grade units often opt for ABS engineering plastic, which effectively meets requirements regarding appearance, structural strength, abrasion resistance, and resistance to aging. The keys are made of silicone, offering excellent abrasion resistance, resistance to aging, and a pleasant tactile feel. Aluminum casings are constructed from lightweight ADC12 aluminum alloy, a material that is easy to mold and process.

Main Unit
The main unit generally comprises the front cover, PTT (Push-to-Talk) button, headphone and power jack plugs, PCB assembly, LCD module, volume/power knob, channel selector knob, indicator light, microphone (MIC), and other components. The PTT button functions as the transmission switch and is typically located on the side of the device. The indicator light displays the device's operational status and is generally positioned on the top.

Battery
Batteries are categorized into Ni-Cd (Nickel-Cadmium), Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal Hydride), and Li-ion (Lithium-ion) types. Available capacities vary, ranging from 600 mAh to 2400 mAh (including 600, 900, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1700, 1800, 2000, 2200, and 2400 mAh).

Belt Clip
The belt clip serves to secure the two-way radio to a belt. For user convenience, the belt clip is designed to be detachable. The antenna consists of two parts: the outer sheath and the inner core. The outer sheath is made of high-performance TPU material, offering excellent resistance to bending and aging. The inner core typically connects to the main unit via a threaded structure, allowing for easy attachment and removal.

Desktop Charger
Used in conjunction with a power adapter to charge either the battery alone or the entire radio unit. Its structure typically includes a DC input jack, charging contact springs, an indicator light, and other components.

Antenna

  • Only the original or approved antenna should be used. The use of unapproved antennas-or antennas that have been modified or fitted with unauthorized accessories-may damage the radio or result in violations of regulations established by the Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry.
  • During operation, avoid holding the antenna with your hand.
  • The radio's antenna must not be unscrewed or removed; doing so may cause the power amplifier tube to burn out during transmission.
  • Do not use a damaged antenna. If a damaged antenna comes into contact with the skin during transmission, it may cause minor burns. Accessories
  • Two-way radios also feature various accessories, such as leather cases, headsets, speaker microphones, and waterproof covers.
