Very High Frequency (VHF) Equipment: Responsible for short-range communication tasks, covering a range of approximately 30 nautical miles. Channel 16 serves as the dedicated international frequency for distress and safety communications, while Channel 70 is utilized for Digital Selective Calling (DSC) distress alerts. In accordance with the *Technical Rules for the Statutory Survey of Domestic Navigating Sea-going Ships (2020)*, the transmission power of VHF equipment must be strictly limited to a range of 6 to 25 watts.
Medium/High Frequency (MF/HF) Equipment: Used for medium-to-long-range ship-to-shore communications. It is equipped with a DSC terminal and Narrow-Band Direct-Printing (NBDP) equipment; watch-keeping frequencies include international distress communication channels such as 2182 kHz (MF) and 4125 kHz (HF).
Satellite Communication Terminals: INMARSAT-SES provides global services for telephony, data transmission, and distress alerting. These terminals must be powered via a dedicated distribution panel and connected to the emergency power supply system.
