First, press the "Menu" button located on the left side of the radio to access the main menu. Next, press the "#" key to select the "Mode Settings" option, and then press the "OK" key to enter the settings interface.
Within the settings interface, you will see two options: "Digital Mode" and "Analog Mode." Use the up and down arrow keys to select your desired mode, and then press the "OK" key to save your selection.
During operation, if you wish to switch modes, simply press the "Mode" button located on the left side of the radio to quickly toggle between Digital Mode and Analog Mode.
Please note that the functions and usage methods of this dual-mode radio differ depending on the active mode. For instance, in Digital Mode, you can utilize advanced features such as digital signaling, text messaging, and GPS positioning; whereas in Analog Mode, you can access analog signals within the VHF/UHF bands as well as basic communication functions.
